Recommended practice in infections caused by Ascaris lumbricoides (intestinal worm); 11 mgkg/day as a single dose (as base). - Recommended application in infections caused by Ancylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus (hookworm); l as a single dose mglkglday (as base). 3 tablets are given to those who weigh up to 75 kilos, 4 tablets are given to those who weigh more than 75 kilos. In the treatment of severe Necator americanus and Ancylostoma duodenale infections, it is given as a single dose of 1 mg/kg per day for 3 days.
- In oxyyuriasis (pinworm infection), family treatment is recommended to definitively eliminate the parasite. A second dose should be administered 2-3 weeks after the first dose to prevent autoreinfestation (re-infecting the patient with the disease).
