Sinicuichi (Heimia Salicifolia) is a species of flowering plant in the Loosestrife family Lythraceae. It is native to the Americas, ranging from the southwestern United States (Texas and New Mexico) through Mexico and Central America to Argentina. It is a bush up to 3 m high with yellow, very beautiful flowers with a diameter of 2-3 cm, which attract bees and other insects. Leaves are 1 cm wide and 2-5 cm long. Heimia salicifolia has very long roots, which even in severe drought provide the plant with moisture without problems.
