Riboflavin (B2): a coenzyme needed for proper functioning mitochondria within the brain. Riboflavin acts as coenzymes, increasing the activity of flavoenzymes in the mitochondria and may improve function in people with abnormal brain energy metabolism.
Feverfew: a dried leaf may have support functions and anti-serotonin properties. Feverfew has been shown to be an effective herb for supporting migraine reduction. Feverfew's active ingredient, parthenolide, appears to have multiple benefits for the central nervous system.
Butterbur: used throughout history as a medicinal plant. Its extract has shown promising results in reducing headache attacks. Potential benefits include its support properties and the activity of its coactive ingredient, petasins, to block Ca2+ channels (calcium channels) in the brain; that may play a role in migraine headaches. Butterbur is also a promising aid in the prevention of headaches as it has been shown to have antispasmodic and vasodilating properties.
Ginkgo Biloba: contains Ginkgolide B, a natural form of PAF (anti-platelet activating factor) involved in disrupting the brain, a process shown to be linked to the creation of headaches. Ginkgo Biloba has been shown to have several medicinal properties that may assist with headaches, such as dilation of blood vessels in the brain, regulation of neurotransmitters, reducing blood viscosity, and the neutralization of oxygen free radicals.
To achieve the best results, use the product for a minimum of 90 days with one capsule in the morning and one at night.
