It is used as an electrolyte replenisher, for the preparation of normal isotonic solution of sodium chloride, as an electrolyte replenisher for the prevention of heat cramps due to excessive perspiration, any alternative use as directed by a physician, including temporary symptomatic relief of the symptoms of colds, headaches, bed wetting, etc. and also helps reverse the symptoms of sodium depletion. Warnings: Do not use without consulting a physician. Ask a physician before use if you have a sodium restricted diet due to multiple organ diseases. If used as an electrolyte replenisher, take one or two tablet orally as directed by your physician. Each tablet contains: Sodium 197 mg. Store at room temperature 15˚ - 30˚C (59˚-86˚F). Product does not contain any inactive ingredients. Warning: Taking salt tablets orally may cause nausea and stomach upset. To avoid, make sure you drink plenty of water or other beverage when taking one of these pills. If your mouth starts salivating and you keep spitting you need to get something to drink.
