Apply and remove like regular underwear. Change as needed, up to once every 4-6 hours, or more frequently if wet. Dispose of used protectors in the trash, wrapping them in tissue or placing them in a plastic bag before disposal for hygienic purposes. Always wash hands after handling used protectors.
