Also useful in treatment of constipation (irregularity) associated with other bowel disorders when recommended by a physician. This product generally produces a bowel movement in 12 to 72 hours. INGREDIENTS:Active Ingredients:Per Caplet: Methylcellulose 500 mg. Inactive Ingredients:Crospovidone; Dibasic Calcium Phosphate; FD&C Yellow No. 6 Aluminum Lake; Magnesium Stearate; Maltodextrin; Povidone; Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. DIRECTIONS:Take each dose with 8 oz. of liquid. Adults & Children over 12 years: 2 caplets (increase up to 4 as needed), not to exceed 12 caplets per day. Children (6 to 12 years): 1 caplet, not to exceed 6 caplets per day. Children under 6 years: Consult a physician. Adults dose: Begin with 2 caplets and may be increased up to 4 as needed with 8 ounces of liquid. Not to exceed 12 caplets per day. Two adult doses of Citrucel Caplets (4 caplets) equals 1 scoop of Citrucel Powder. Children (6-12 years): Take 1 caplet with 8 ounces of liquid, up to 6 times per day. Not to exceed 6 caplets per day. The dosage requirement may vary according to the severity of constipation. Drinking another glass of water is helpful. Children under 6 years: consult a physician. TAKE THIS PRODUCT (CHILD OR ADULT DOSE) WITH AT LEAST 8 OUNCES (A FULL GLASS) OF WATER OR OTHER FLUID. TAKING THIS PRODUCT WITHOUT ENOUGH LIQUID MAY CAUSE CHOKING.
