Vitamin C is also called by its chemical name, ascorbic acid. It is a water-soluble antioxidant that reacts directly with superoxide, hydroxyl radicals and singlet oxygen species. The body uses Vitamin C as a specific electron donor for enzymes and is required for the biosynthesis of neurotransmitters as well as peptide hormones.

Each serving size (1 capsule) contains: Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) 1,000 mg. Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, silica, vegetable stearate, coating (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, glycerin) and croscarmellose sodium.
Directions
As a dietary supplement, adults take one tablet daily with a meal or as directed by a healthcare professional.
