Daily's Acerola C: Acerola Cherry is a tropical shrub or small tree also known as Barbados cherry, West Indian cherry, or Crepe Myrtle. Acerola is native to South America, southern Mexico and Central America. Acerola is extremely rich in vitamin C, but also provides vitamins A, B1, B2 & B3 as well as carotenoids and bioflavonoids. Daily’s all natural Acerola C is derived entirely from Acerola cherry concentrate. A small amount of vanilla is added for flavor. Stearic acid (a natural vegetable oil) and sorbitol are added for moisture protection. Acerola C can be chewed or swallowed, and has a pleasant, tart flavor. One tablet provides Vitamin C 60 mg (from acerola cherry concentrate).
