DHT is one of the most potent androgens, exhibiting much greater androgenic potential than testosterone. DHT is also generated from testosterone, via the enzyme 5-alpha reductase (5-AR). Tribulus terrestris appears to increase 5-AR activity, which in turn ends up converting more testosterone to DHT. This is likely the reason for confidence boosting effects from Tribulus terrestris.
