1. Remove the ice pack from its packaging. 2. Place the ice pack in the freezer for a few hours or in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours for cold therapy, or heat it in the microwave for 10 seconds for hot therapy. 3. Apply the ice pack to the affected area as needed. 4. If using as a cold pack, replace it with a new one when it warms up. 5. Hand wash the ice pack if necessary.
