Two important species supporting the small and large intestine*
Equal amounts of Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum are combined in Pro-Biotic Complex™ for individuals who may require high amounts of these important probiotics. L. acidophilus is a well-researched, hardy species highly resistant to gastric acid, bile salts, and digestive enzymes. Possessing more than 20 peptidases, it readily breaks down casein, casein-derived polypeptides, and gluten.*
This formulation is available in both a powder containing 10 billion CFUs per 1/4 teaspoon and a maintenance- dose vegetarian capsule supplying 5 billion CFUs.
