- EUROSORB ROLL BY EUROFARM, HIGH INTEGRITY CALCIUM ALGINATE DRESSING – Eurosorb roll is a primary dressing in ribbon made of 1OO% calcium alginate, sterile, soft and highly absorbent fibers. In contact with exudate, Eurosorb roll turns into a biocompatible gel, which maintains a moist wound healing environment.
- PROMOTES THE HEALING PROCESS AND FORMATION OF NEW TISSUE – Promotes the healing process and the formation of newly formed tissue. Eurosorb roll can absorb exudates for up to 1O times its weight and can remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on the patient's condition and the quantity of exudates.
- INTEGRAL ALGINATE – Eurosorb roll is an integral alginate absorbing exudates between and within its fibers. It can be removed in one piece; the structure does not adhere to the wound bed and does not release exudates, preventing the risk of skin maceration.
- CAUSES NO TRAUMA TO NEWLY FORMED TISSUE – Eurosorb reduces to the minimum the risk of release of alginate fibers into the wound and does not cause trauma to newly formed tissue preserving the wound perimeter
- USES – Eurosorb roll is indicated for the treatment of Pressure ulcers, Leg ulcers, Cavity wounds, Skin donor sites. It is also indicated for cavity wounds.
