Directions
Electrolytes should ideally be fed 2 to 3 hours prior to exertion. Horses must have access to water after feeding electrolytes. For heavy sweat conditions, feed 2 oz. (2 scoops) prior to exertion. When excessive sweat is lost, 1 to 2 oz. (1 to 2 scoops) can be fed after exertion also. For average sweat conditions, feed 1 oz. prior to exertion. For daily maintenance of horses in hot, or humid conditions, 1 oz. per day can be added to the diet. During cooler weather, this product may be used at 1/2 oz to 1 oz per day (1/2 to 1 scoop) to encourage water consumption. (Based on average 1100 lb. horse. Feed slightly more for larger horses & slightly less for smaller horses). A 1 oz. scoop (28.4 grams) is enclosed.
