Alpha -lipoic acid is used in antiaging cosmetic products to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on skin. Alpha-lipoic acid has powerful antioxidant that is known to diminish the effects of free radical damage to skin and prevent and reduce visible signs of aging, such as wrinkles and fine lines.
