Spirulina (Arthrospira platensis) is a filamentous planktonic cyanobacteria of a spiral form. It has a low level of cellular differentiation. The body of Spirulina is a non-branching thread in the form of a spiral. Trichomes consist of identical cells. The cell walls are not visible under a microscope light. Mucous covers are poorly developed. Trichomes are adapted to perform translational and rotational movements, but they can straighten under the influence of physical or chemical factors.

Directions
