Stevia (Stevia Rebaudiana) is an herbaceous perennial, 60-80 cm high (sometimes up to 120 cm). Stevia looks like a highly branched bush. The roots are cord-shaped, slightly branching. The stem is up straight, cylindrical, branched, and leafy. The leaves are simple, cross opposite without stipules. The flowers are white and small. Fruits are achenes with a dense pericarp separating from the seed. The seeds are small and spindle-shaped.
