Apply the dressing to the wound, ensuring that the foam pad covers the wound entirely and the border sticks to the skin around the wound. 4. Secure the dressing in place, ensuring that it is flat against the skin and there are no air bubbles. 5. Change the dressing as needed, based on the amount of exudate produced by the wound. If the dressing becomes saturated, it should be changed immediately. 6. Always wash your hands before and after handling the dressing to prevent infection. 7. Do not use the dressing if it is damaged or shows signs of deterioration.
