- Advanced Scar Therapy: Skinuva Scar+ Cream SPF 30 has all the benefits of the original silicone scar cream matrix formulated with growth factors, but with added non-nano Zinc Oxide for broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen protection. These selective Growth Factors help reduce the appearance of redness, pigmentation, and thickening of the skin; helps promote collagen production needed for scarless wound healing.
- Premium Sun Protection: Skinuva Scar+ has been specifically formulated for areas exposed to the sun, such as the face, neck, and hands, to minimize the darkening effects associated with sun exposure and help reduce the appearance of redness and hyperpigmentation. Additional ingredients include hyaluronic acid, aloe, centella asiatica, vitamin C, and silicone cream.
- Targets Small Scars: The smallest size (15mL or 0.5oz) can be used for smaller scars less than 1 inch in size, such as scars from small biopsies, mohs/skin cancer, arthroscopic incisions, or laparoscopic incisions. Indications
If there is an old acne area that has created a depression or a local pit (i.e. atrophic, pitted scar), Skinuva® Scar can be applied, but it may not be as effective if used alone vs in combination with other treatments, such as microneedling or laser treatments, which can be performed by the treating doctor.

Directions
For optimal results, apply Skinuva twice daily, morning and night, for 3-6 months for best results. Wait 15 minutes before sun exposure. It is recommended to use Skinuva Scar+ SPF 2-3 weeks post procedure or when the incision site has closed. It may be used longer for more mature scars. Skinuva Scar+ SPF can be used on scars of any age, although it is within the first 12 months of the scar’s healing phase that Skinuva Scar+ SPF provides the most optimal benefits.
