Madder Root (Rubia Tinctoria) is a perennial herbaceous plant with a height of 30 cm to 1.5 meters. The rhizome of the plant is long, horizontal, branched, and reddish-brown outside, orange-red inside. The subordinate roots extend from the rhizome nodes. The stems are tetrahedral, oppositely branched. Large curved thorns are located on the sides of the stems, with the help of which Madder clings to nearby plants. The leaves of the plant are arranged in whorls of 4-6 pieces. The flowers of the plant are small, yellowish-green, at the ends of the branches are collected in umbrella inflorescences. The fruit is a black drupe with 1-2 seeds. Blossom period is in June-August. Fruiting season is in August-September.

Directions
Shake well before use. Take 20-30 drops, three times a day or as directed by your practitioner. The best way to use liquid herbal glycerites is to put the suggested amount in a glass of water, tea, or juice and drink the entire contents. Glycerites can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some glycerites are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.
