Dosage: The recommended oral dose of Immediate Release Niacin in adults is 1/4 teaspoon (1-2 grams) 2-3 times daily. The maximum recommended dose is 6g daily. Dissolve in water or Juice. Niacin should be started at very low doses and increased slowly over several weeks. To avoid stomach upset, Niacin should be taken with meals. Be careful not to take too much at one time to avoid an extreme "Flush".
