May be fed at room temperature or chilled. Tube Feeding: Osmolality, 600 mOsm/kg water. Adjust flow rate and volume according to patient's condition and tolerance. Pump feed at room temperature with an 8 Fr or larger tube; use a 10 Fr or larger tube for gravity feeding. When used as a sole source of nutrition, additional water may be required and can be met by giving water between or after feedings or when flushing the tube.
