Vitron-C is a high potency iron supplement formulated with Vitamin C to help your body better absorb iron. The use of an iron pill daily may boost energy by helping to fight fatigue in users with low iron levels* or iron-deficiency anemia. Vitron-C iron supplements contain carbonyl iron which provides gradual and gentle iron absorption and helps minimize constipation*. The added Vitamin C improves iron absorption*. The most common gastrointestinal side effects of any iron supplement is constipation, which occurs in 12% of treated patients.1 Nausea (11%) and diarrhea (8%) are also commonly reported.1 These symptoms are not reported with intravenous iron, indicating that the adverse effects are due to a direct effect of oral iron on the gastrointestinal tract.
