- Note - Blobuste medical ice packs do not harden after freezing, but the effect is not reduced, if you like a very cold state, you can leave the gel pack in the fridge overnight. Doctors also recommend that the duration of each cold compress should not exceed 20 minutes. You can put two ice packs in the fridge and alternate cold compresses to extend the therapy time.
